Perry Wood is a truly unique spot with jutting mounds of sand and heath-land wildlife amid the rolling chalk of the Downs. Its position in the landscape with fantastic views to the coast and countryside means that it has a rich history. To get to this cache take either footpath leading out of the car park behind the public house.
The series is set up in order to encourage more people to visit the area. There is a bonus cache in the series for which you will need to write down some numbers contained in each cache. If you forget then it might be a bit of a walk in some cases to get the info you need, SO DON'T FORGET!! Tweezers may be useful.
Enjoy the walk and if it is wet then bring wellies. If going onto (Hiding in my Shell) get back on the main path and follow it round the bottom of a steep slope. Do not climb upwards to try and take a short cut, stay on the lower path.
