See the amazing spectacle from late May to early July in this area. There are actually many locations in Utah where fireflies can be seen at the right time of year. Another good geocache is called Firefly in Logan Canyon. Also see the map links below for good locations
The cache can be found by walking down the road and without getting wet. Some fireflies can be seen along the way from the dirt road looking into the swampy area. A few of them will fly up to the road on occasion. Also, the railroad tracks on the berm near the parking area have been cleared out so you can walk that way to get a good view. To get the best view of more fireflies you have to cross a ditch and piles of logs. The area is tricky to negotiate so be prepared. Waders would be good if you really want to be close to the larger group of fireflies.
A couple nights ago I saw so many fireflies it was too hard to count. It should be better when the moon is not so bright. So don't wait long or you will have to wait another year or go north to the Logan Canyon cache in July. I looked all over Utah last year but was too late in the season each time or the moon was too bright. This year I am more prepared and got to see fireflies for the first time in Utah.
Please report your sightings from this location and anywhere else you have seen them in Utah.

This map shows locations of fireflies I have been to. The ones in green are where I saw fireflies in 2016 - Late May to early July.
