The fun of this hide is that you can get to it from a series of short trails behind the campground store or you can take an even shorter hike at the ampitheater entrance. This was meant to be a fun and easy hike for those at the campground. It would be a great first find.
The purpose of this hide was to teach Girl Scout day campers how to find a geocache. The theme for the week was based on the Maurice Sendack book Where The Wild Things Are. We hope this is both a fun and easy hide to learn how to do a geocache while looking for where the wild things are in the woods.
