La cache se trouve sur l'Habitation Dillon qui est située au cœur de Fort de France la Capitale non loin de l'Autoroute "La Rocade".
NOTA : Vu que la cache se trouve à l'extérieur des sites de visite, vous avez le choix de faire la visite ou se contenter seulement de faire la cache. La visite de cette habitation est gratuite ainsi que les dégustations.
LE SITE :
L'Habitation Dillon qui est une ancienne distillerie est située au cœur de Fort de France dans le quartier éponyme à quelques dizaines de mètres de la rocade qui traverse la ville. La présence d'une habitation sucrière à cet endroit remonte à 1690 mais le nom du domaine est hérité d'Arthur Dillon qui dirige la plantation à la fin du XVIIIème siècle. Il faut attendre le XIXème pour que la production de rhum se développe à l'initiative d'un nouveau propriétaire. Aujourd'hui le rhum n'est plus produit dans les locaux mais dans une distillerie au nord de l'île à Saint Pierre.
Si vous décidez de visiter l'habitation vous avez droit à visionner un diaporama, on découvre par soi-même les différentes phases de la fabrication du rhum. La dégustation gracieuse du rhum agricole A.O.C. se déroule ensuite dans un cadre agréable et convivial.
LA CACHE :
Une fois que vous avez trouvé une place pour votre voiture, le site est très facile d'accès. La cache de micro magnétique contient originellement le log mais pas de crayon. Apportez donc votre crayon (BYOP) et soyez extrêmement discret, l’endroit est très fréquenté. SVP replacez la cache exactement à l’endroit où vous l’avez trouvé.

THE SITE:
The Habitation Dillon who is an old distillery is situated in the heart of Fort de France in the eponymic district in some dozens metres of the Rocade which crosses the city. The presence of a sugar house in this place goes back up in 1690 but the name of the domain is inherited from Arthur Dillon who steers the plantation at the end of the XVIIIth century. It is necessary to wait for the XIXth so that the production of rum develops on the initiative of a new owner. Today the rum is not any more produced in premises but in distillery in the North of the island to Saint Pierre.
If you decide to visit the house you are entitled to view a slide show, we discover by itself the various phases of the manufacture of the rum. The graceful tasting of the agricultural rum A.O.C. takes place then in a pleasant and friendly frame.
