Alle Bunker dieser Serie waren von einem Stacheldraht umzäunt, ACHTUNG auf die Überreste am Boden!
Jeder ist für sich selbst und sein Tun verantwortlich, Taschenlampen und genügend Reservebatterien sind UNBEDINGT NOTWENDIG!
Bitte hinterlasst die Bunker so, wie ihr sie vorgefunden habt und nehmt auch nichts mit; sie sollen auch weiterhin ein geschichts-
trächtiger Ort bleiben. Versteckt die Caches wieder so, wie ihr sie vorgefunden habt!
Diese Serie besteht aus einem Großteil der Bunker der Sperranlage Kreuzbergpass. In jeder dieser Anlagen findet ihr zusätzlich einen
Hinweis für den BONUS CACHE. (hier)
Die Bunker am Kreuzbergpass sind Teil des Alpenwalls.
Diese zu einem großen Teil unfertig gebliebene Befestigungslinie wurde in den Jahren 1938-1942 von Italien aus Angst vor Angriffen
aus den Nachbarländern errichtet.
Besonders der Südtiroler Alpenwall war für Mussolini bedeutend, da seine Angst, dass Deutschland das deutschsprachige Südtirol
zurückfordern würde, groß war. Am 04.10.1942 wurden die Arbeiten am Alpenwall schließlich eingestellt: Ab 1945 wurden viele Werke
von der NATO fertig gestellt und ausgerüstet und bis in die 1990er Jahre betrieben.
Im Jahre 1999 gingen die Bunker an die Provinz Bozen über
Der Südtiroler Alpenwall besteht aus mehr als 350 Infanterie- oder Artilleriewerken.
Am Kreuzbergpass gibt es insgesamt 12 komplette Befestigungsanlagen, wovon 7 von der NATO modernisiert wurden und während des Kalten Krieges
verwendet wurden. 11 Offiziere, 16 Unteroffiziere und 220 Truppensoldaten konnten hier stationiert werden. Diese Sperranlage war
anfangs, wie jene in Winnebach und in Toblach, dam "XV Sektor Pustertal" zugeordnet, ging später aber in den "XVI Sektor Cadore- Carnia" über.
Zusätzlich zu den gut getarnten Bunkern gab es eine Panzersperre, um Panzer auf ihrem Vorstoß zu behindern.

Ognuno è responsabile per se stesso e per quello che fa! Torcie elettriche e abbastanza batterie di riserva sono ASSOLUTAMENTE OBBLIGATORIE!
Per favore lasciate i bunker come li avete rinvenuti e non portarte via niente: Dovranno rimanere un luogo storico anche in futuro!

I bunker sul Passo Monte Croce fanno parte del Vallo Alpino.
Questo sistema di fortificazioni incompiuto è stato costruito negli anni 1938-1942 dall' Italia per proteggere il confine italiano dai Paesi limitrofi.
Soprattutto il Vallo Alpino nell' Alto Adige era importante per Mussolini, perché la sua paura che la Germania poteva rivendicare l' Alto Adige
germanofono era grande. Con il 04.10.1942 i lavori al Vallo Alpino alla fine venivano sospesi: Dopo il 1945 tante opere venivano completate ed
attrezzate dalla NATO e gestite fino negli anni 1990.
Nell' anno 1999 i bunker passavano alla provincia di Bolzano.
Il Vallo Alpino dell' Alto Adige è composto da più di 350 posti di fanteria o artiglieria.
Sul Passo Monte Croce in tutto ci sono 12 fortificazioni complete, di cui 7 sono state modernizzate dalla NATO ed usate durante la Guerra Fredda.
11 ufficiali, 16 sottoufficiali e 220 soldati di truppe potevano venire stazionati qui.
All' inizio questo sbarramento era associato, assieme agli sbarramenti di Prato alla Drava e Dobbiaco, al "XV Settore Pusteria", dopo faceva parte del "XVI Settore Cadore- Carnia".
Aggiuntivo ai bunker ben mascherati c' era una barriera anticarro per ostacolare l' avanzata dei carri armati.

Everybody is responsable for himself. It`s NECESSARY to bring pocket lamps and enough reserve- batteries.
Please leave the bunker as you have find them and do not take away nothing: They have to remain a historical place in the future, too!

The bunker on the Passo Monte Croce make part of the Vallo Alpino.
This for a great part unfinished fortification- line has been built in the years 1938-1942 by Italy for fear of attacks.
Especially the Vallo Alpino of South Tyrol was important for Mussolini, because his fear that Germany wanted back the German- speaking South Tyrol was big.
On the day 04.10.1942 the works on the Vallo Alpino were stopped finally: As of 1945 many bunker were finished and equipped by the NATO and conducted till the 1990s.
1999 the bunker omitted to the province of Bolzano.
The Vallo Alpino of South Tyrol consists of more than 350 divisions of infantry or artillery. On the Passo Monte Croce there are altogether 12 completed
fortifications, of which 7 were modernised by the NATO and used during the years of the Cold War. 11 officers, 16 sergeants and 220 soldiers could be positioned
here. This fortification- line at the beginning has been assigned, how the line at Prato alla Drava and Dobbiaco, at the "XV Sector Pusteria" but later it omitted
to the "XVI Sector Cadore- Carnia".
