of the Wreck in Chatsworth.

75 years ago this Tuesday (Aug 19th) "The Seashore's Finest Train" derailed due to a track washout following an all day rain event with record breaking rainfall. The derailment occurred only 1.66 miles from this location on August 19, 1939. Visit GCPF2N if you dare to visit the exact location. This cache was the one that got me into geocaching.

There are other "Blue Comet" geocaches in the area too.

I will have some of my personal Blue Comet collection for viewing..
