Hey! It's the middle of summer! Time to hit the trails with your bike or hiking stick!
This event will kick off from 9:00-10:00 AM on this Saturday in July. Come on out and meet up with some like-minded cachers and enjoy both the Wild Goose Trail OR the new Fond du Lac Loop Trail.
If quiet country bike ridin' is your thing, head southwest on the green canopied Wild Goose Trail, which follows the first railroad bed in Wisconsin, the old Rock River Line. There are several bridges, steep embankments, and cleverly hidden caches to keep your addiction fed!
If urban caching is your style, the new Fond du Lac Loop will take you to the Prairie Trail, then loop you back through Fond du Lac, passing the historic train depot. Just follow the Loop signs!
Don't have a bike? These trails are great for walking on, too! If it's hot, enjoy the shady Wild Goose Trail. If it's a bit rainy, walk the paved Loop while the raindrops play music on your umbrella.
You can also visit a few attractions in the area. The Fond du Lac County Fair will be in it's 4th day and is great for all ages. Enjoy Lakeside Park with the kids, or just cache the day away in the city! Plenty of new caches popping up!
