Traditional cache that brings you 2.5 miles North of the City of Crookston to the Municipal Aiport, also known as Kirkwood Field. Airport is primarily used for general aviation and averages 55 aircraft operations daily according to 2006 statistics.
Airport contains three runways, two turf and one longer asphalt runway. Military used this airport for contract glider training in the 1940's. Take some time and enjoy the view of the runways and hangars. Cache is a magnetic container and should be easy to find.
