The is cache will lead you to a particularly beautiful spot near the Trans Canada Trail.
The trail to the Falls is accessed by the Trans Canada Trail or the Fisherman Creek Road. The road is 4 wheel drive only. You can ride a bike or walk on the Trans Canada Trail quite easily. Access the trail by parking at Eagle Ridge Raod and walking or biking to the falls about 5 km. The falls and the canyon are in an unique ecosystem of tall cedars and wild flowers in an otherwise dry landscape. The trail has been maintained by volunteers and was well marked. However spring 2016 a freak windfall brought down several very large trees across the trail. You will need to scramble around this windfall. The cache is a small lock n' lock hidden in the roots of nearby trees. Screw up your nerve and reach down the hole.
