Fox Lake Sanctuary is a 2,568 acre nature sanctuary managed by the Brevard County EEL Program. The Sanctuary is located west of Fox Lake Park in Titusville. Fox Lake Sanctuary is home to a variety of habitats including wet prairie, mesic flatwoods and oak-saw palmetto scrub. Hours are from 7 AM to dusk, year round.
The trailhead is located near the Fox Lake Park boat ramp. You can expect slightly more than a mile of terrestrial travel along multi-use trails or about 3 miles of aquatic travel, followed by an additional .25 mile of leisurely striding. Trails will be wet if there has been recent rain. The cache is my standard ammo can and contents, placed less than 75' from the yellow-blazed hiking trail.
An unactivated trackable awaits the first finder.
