Boissevain has been described as an “outdoor art gallery”. A walk through town may well convince you of that statement’s truth! Boissevain is well known for its 26 murals throughout town, and this multi will take you on a tour of 10 of them. Locals have even described the outdoor gallery as a museum of the town’s history.
This multi can be completed on foot, on a bicycle, or in a car. All clues can be gathered without leaving the vehicle, and can be found in any order. The cache is located at N49°AB.CDE; W100°FG.HIJ, where:
A = Number of persons driving the team of horses.
B = Number of cows being led into the barn (i.e. entirely outside the barn now).
C = Number of paintbrushes the artist is holding (both hands).
D = Sum of the last two digits of the locomotive’s number.
E = Number of barrels of product on the ground (e.g. coffee).
F = Number of women depicted who are cooking.
G = Number of men in the survey party (holding either a tripod or measuring rod).
H = Number of portraits on the wall behind the man in the chair.
I = Number of statues shown.
J = Number of men actively swinging an axe.
The cache has been placed with the permission of the Town of Boissevain, and the nearby building is aware of the cache's placement. Enjoy the tour! I encourage you to stop and look at the other murals you'll see along the way.
Congratulations to Jesmar for your first FTF and first multi-cache!
