Tiger Mountain NRCA is a local "playground" for folks from Issaquah, Bellevue, Seattle and beyond. It covers thousands of acres, 3 summits, and is criss-crossed by many miles of hiking, biking and walking/nature trails; plus over a hundred geocaches! This short trail is one of the few level walks in the system and a nice introduction to the area, ideal for small kids. Easy access is from the High Point Trailhead along I-90. A Discover Pass is required to park here (P1), but you can also park along the access road at waypoint P2 (before the gate) for free if you don't mind a little extra walk in the woods with slight elevation gain.
From the upper parking area, you'll find the Around The Lake Trail (waypoint T1) by following the main trail beyond the restrooms. If starting at the lower parking area, look for the trail to the upper parking area (waypoint T2) just before the large sign next to the gate and follow that to the upper parking area, then on to T1 and the cache.
