Spend a morning on the beautiful St. Croix River cleaning up the historic Boom Site area, which includes a wayside rest and scenic overlook, just north of downtown Stillwater.
This C.I.T.O. event is being held in collaboration with Conservation Corps Minnesota. Geocachers will concentrate on the Boom Site itself just south of the posted coordinates. I have assigned a higher terrain rating because there are steep steps and some cliff/hillsides to contend with during the event.
The Clean-up will go from 9:00am until 11:30am. Lunch will be provided by the Conservation Corps.
For lunch ordering purposes, please include a "head count" with your attend logs. There will also be a liability waiver to sign before the event in addition to signing up online.
Wear sturdy shoes and protective clothing. Conservation Corps will provide work gloves, eye wear and hand tools.
