As you can see in the picture there are a lot of metal rubbish on the beach. You can also see Bartosz Zielinski that together with others already have collected the metal.
But we will concentrate on the plastic debris that has washed ashore here. Mostly because the plastic is easier to collect, but also because material that are left before 1945 are protected as cultural heritage. And most of the plastic artifacts are much younger than that.
We gather at the given coordinates. After an short review of todays task half of the participants will head northwest, and the other half southeast. After one hour we meet here again and thereafter we go to the recycle station together.
There will be some bags that you can use to collect the debris in. But you are more than welcome to bring you own bags to.
There are an recycle station in Longyearbyen where we can leave the rubbish. So please sorts the material in plastic-glass-metal.
Coordinates to the recycle station will come.
