Crazy Lazy Siltcoos River Day Trip Event Cache

This is a all day kayaking trip starting at 8 am going down the Siltcoos river to the Pacific ocean and back up the river to Siltcoos campground. There are a few caches along the way, rope swings, sand dunes and water games.

We will meet at Siltcoos Park and do some shuffeling of rigs to the finish area at Siltcoos campground. Both area require fee's for the day. Siltcoos Park is a Land County pass and Siltcoos camping are is a State fee area

You will need to bring a packed lunch, snacks, water, warm clothes as it can get very cold the closer we get to the Ocean. A Dry bag is always good to have on these wet trips. Sun Block

We will be porting the dam along the way, easy place to get out of your kayak and walk down the walk way pulling your boat. If you are brave and don't mind getting wet you can always ride the boat ramp down.

There are some sandy places to stop at along the way where we will have lunch.

After going to the beach we will head back up the river to Siltcoos camping area and end our day, shuffling kayaks and people to there cars.
