Sonnenberg Park features 8 acres of park land and facilities on Howell Street. The facilities include an enclosed pavilion, a large athletic field, various courts, softball fields, play equipment, picnic area and seasonal restrooms. The walking trail is one-half mile long. Park hours are 6:00AM-Sunset. Please be sure to CITO and respect the area you're in!
This geocache may be blocked, depending on how popular this part of the park may be at the time you come looking. There is plenty of parking though! The "cache-tainer" may be slightly difficult to open up but don't worry, it's durable for the most part! The cache is not a nano and it is not a micro - but it is pretty small! Please place back how it was found (or similarily) so it stays in a weather friendly area.
This isn't room for tradeables or trackables and please BYOP! There is no FTF prize but isn't geocaching prize enough? I think it is!
Enjoy the area while you're here, this park is a little more rundown than some parks in the area but it is still large and deserves to be enjoyed!
