This location is best accessed from the Princess highway along Poddy Creek Rd just east of its crossing of Bemm River. Then turn up Tower track or a similar name. Access is not via Mt Bemm track.
2wd access can sometimes be difficult due to steepness, but it is surfaced all the way, so take a run up if you need it.
The fire tower is active over summer. Visitor numbers aren't high here so you will have to chat to the operator before you start.
Trees are growing up around the tower so cant assure a view, but its a great spot away from everything. Caches aren't around here in any numbers, so instead the chance is their to grab a high d/t. A magnetic nano so far from the highway is only going to get high numbers.
Beware of woodchip trucks using the road.
