Geocache Description:

Congratulations to Katsurian for the FTF and an adventure

This is a challenge cache. It is at the posted coordinates but you must qualify before claiming the cache as a find.

If you are in the area, feel free to sign the log anytime.

A couple months ago I was planning a geocaching road trip to southeastern Oregon and then saw a challenge post called The CWOC Challenge where you have to find 7 caches in 7 different Oregon counties on 7 consecutive days, each must have a difficulty of exactly 1.5.  Well I decided to incorporate that into my 4-day road trip by starting a few days earlier and finishing up the day afterward. I stretched that to 10 straight days, 10 different Oregon Counties, and a D-1.5 cache each day.

For this challenge, I'll make it easier on the difficulty.  You must find 10 caches in 10 different Oregon counties on 10 consecutive days. The difficulty must be 1.5 or higher (No D1 caches please).  Just post your caches in your log or create a public bookmark of your caches including this challenge.  This cache may NOT be used for the challenge.

I thought since I've accomplished that feat that I will put out a challenge for anyone who's willing to give it a go.  I decided to place this cache near the only area in Oregon where four counties come together (the 4-Corners area off Hwy 26). There's a large parking area just a bit to the east of the cache, parking coordinates are given below. The shortest way to access this cache is to follow the trail at the west end of the parking lot, you will see several large boulders at the head of that trail.  It isn't a well-maintained trail so is a bit overgrown in spots but easily manageable and will take you directly to the cache.  Once you get to GZ, about 5' before a giant tree blocks your path, look to your left. The cache is now a plastic ammo can hidden in the fern. The actual difficulty/terrain of this cache is more like a D2-T3.5

Here's how I qualified for this challenge:

Day1: GC4PZ87 -  Tillamook Forest Center  - Tillamook Co.  (D1.5/T1.5)

Day2: GC4G215 -  Vintage Portland: Yamhill Market - Multnomah Co. D1.5/T1.5)

Day3: GCTM0Q - At Water's Edge - Clackamas Co. (D1.5/T1.5)

Day4: GC404RY - An Appeal for SWAG - Washington Co. (D1.5/T2)

Day5: GC4Q0BV - Guarding the Big O - Yamhill Co. (D1.5/T1.5)

Day6: GC4MWRM - OFP Winema Nat'l Forest - Klamath Co. (D1.5/T1.5)

Day7: GC4NN09 - Summer is not over yet.... - Harney Co. (D1.5/T1.5)

Day8: GCCBF4 - Cache at the Crypt - Malheur Co. (D1.5/T2)

Day9: GC38E47 - Friendly Forest - Linn Co. (D1.5/T1.5)

Day10: GC12GMB - Let's go Fishing. - Polk Co. (D1.5/T1.5)
