KFC - Kid Friendly Caches. I have young children who enjoy geocaching so I decided to start the KFC series for my littlest cachers. They will also have lots of cool SWAG because, as my wife says, toddlers are hoarders and love little trinkets. Feel free to add to the series!
This cache takes its name from one of my favorite books! I love the illustrations and how Max's room is turned into a forest. If you haven't read this book, check it out!
This cache is located along the Linear Trail in Erwin. If you park at the given coordinates and walk along the trail you will pass 4 caches on your way to a nice little playground. Sounds like a perfect day of caching with kids!
You can seek this cache day or night. There are lights along the trail.
Please park in designated parking areas along the trail.
There is no need to really even step off the trail to grab this cache.
