Geocache Description:

This is another cache in my growing series dedicated to Don McLean's archetypal

folk-rock classic, "American Pie".

"American Pie" has probably been one of the most discussed and dissected songs of our time. There have been college courses on it and websites dedicated to it.

When asked what "American Pie" meant, Don McLean replied, "It means I don't ever have to work again if I don't want to." He never explained the lyrics, leaving many to ponder the question. Whatever the interpretation-I love the song.

To get all of the caches in this series, you’ll have to employ a bit of Percy V. Rance, as the caches are placed across a wide area. Each cache is placed in a unique area which represents a line in the song.

There is a public bookmark list on all the cache pages for you to download if you wish.

Please replace all caches thoughtfully
