To celebrate the 100th birthday of the Brownies in 2014, Brownies all over the country have been invited to take part in the very special Big Brownie Birthday Challenge.
One of the clauses in the challenge is to have a go at geocaching. This cache has been placed for the 4th Leighton Buzzard Brownies and is named after one of their sixes.
It is one of four new caches at Tiddenfoot Pit, which form a small series along with the original We're Going on a Bearhunt cache (GC201X9). See the boomark list for more details. They are all fairly simple hides, so ideal for beginners.
Tiddenfoot Waterside Park is a very popular dog walking spot in Leighton Buzzard. It is the site of a former sand quarry but is now a haven for wildlife. The walk around the lake is just under a mile and is on surfaced paths which are buggy and wheelchair accesible. There is free parking at the entrance to the park.
This cache is a small cliplock box with room for trackables and swap items.
