This cache is located in the proximity of the Gibson Reservoir Boat Ramp in Sun River Canyon.
Travel west to the Rocky Mountain Front via highway 200/21 to Augusta and then the Sun Canyon Road to a wonderful recreational area, Sun River Canyon. Go through the canyon, crossing the river at N47 36.370/W112 45.186. Be sure to stop at the Gibson Dam Overlook for a wonderful vista as you head for the cache. Park at N47 36.300/W112 46.012. From there take the North Fork of the Sun River Trail to find the cache. Cache (in a medium rubber maid box with white lid) contains: Key Chain, deck of cards, frog sounds, Euro coins, carabiners, beer coasters, mosquito repellent, pen, and log book. Have fun, watch for deer, elk, and mountain sheep in the area. This is an excellent location for a day trip from Great Falls or overnight camping as the fishing is wonderful.
