This cache is named after the gazebo which marks the northern tip of Bartlett's historic district. The district within is also known as Bartlett Station. The gazebos were erected to promote more pedestrian activity in the area. These 'gateways' are symbolic of the old stage coach stations that were used in the early 1800's. When the Ohio railway met the Memphis railway, Bartlett served as both a train and stage coach station. Along the appropriately named Stage Road, many plantations flourished. Today, Bartlett Station continues to progress with business while maintaining it's deep historic roots and charm.
