This is the 4th cache in a series of four that I have placed in St. Ferdinand Park. It is my desire that through the placement of these caches, that people, both local and visiting the area can find the value of this wonderful park.

St. Ferdinand Park is a 64 acre park located at 25 St. Ferdinand Drive at the intersection of North Lindbergh and St. Ferdinand Drive.  This park has 5 picnic pavilions each having a BBQ pit of which 3 pavilions have electric.  There are 6 lighted ball fields along with  3 unlit fields.  There are four playground areas in the park, 2 restrooms, 3 sand volleyball courts, 1 soccer field and 2 tennis courts and a lake which can be used for fishing.  The park is home to the summer concert series "Music Under the Stars" held adjacent to the lake during July and August.

Warning

NOTICE: Please be respectful of the posted park hours. If you enter the park after hours you are trespassing. If you are stopped you can be ticketed or arrested and will put the future of geocaching in the parks in jeopardy. Special permission to hide caches in St. Louis County parks is NOT needed as long as the Groundspeak rules are followed. "Blanket Permission" has been worked out in advance with the park service. DO NOT CALL THE PARK as they cannot handle the calls. The Groundspeak cache reviewer does need to know exactly how and where the caches are hidden and what type of containers are used. The geocaching liaisons will notify the park service of new caches. Remember NO AMMO BOXES or PVC PIPE caches.
