Givans State Park nature trail
A nice little traditional park. It is one of the access points for the Edisto Canoe Trail. The nature trail is a total of 1.5 miles long. The topography of this trail is somewhat of a surprise for the low country. It is not wheelchair accessable, and a child in a stroller would make the terrain about a 5+. Be aware of the wildlife, the day the cache was placed a bald eagle was observed eating a fish in the off limits area along the trail. Please remember this is the low country and all flora and fauna is not friendly. The co-ords are for a relatively open (overhead) area at a sharp curve on the trail. It is a clear plastic container with a blue lid. Contents:F.A.kit, NAHC collectors medallion, Artwork key chain, Horse blanket key tag, Set of photographic film hangers, a revolutionary war era minnie ball.
