Poor Kharphat, shunned by both boys and girls, life was challenging growing up. Even Kharphat's adopted brother and sister (Carlos & Maria) treated him/her as an outcast. Little did they or others know that Kharphat would achieve such great things later in life. Kharphat, however, is very modest and takes little credit for his/her achievements. Some of those achievements: Inventing the fuzzy side of velcro strips. Creating the animated paper clip for Microsoft Word. He/she was the first to discover that pressing Silly Putty to newspaper print resulted in the newspaper image transferred to the putty. Simply amazing.
It's really impossible to properly honor Kharphat's contributions to humankind but placing this cache is just my little way of recognizing this incredible person. When you log this cache please remember to thank Kharphat for helping make all of our lives so much better.
