Residence of the Chief Secretary for Administration (Victoria House)
Victoria House at No. 15 Barker Road is one of the colonial-style residences in Hong Kong. It was build in 1951 on the site of the main block of Old Victoria Hospital (built in 1897 to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria's reign). Formerly, it has always been the official residence of the Colonial Secrctary. The post was renamed as Cheif Secretary in 1976 and Chief Secretary for Administration subce the establishment of the HKSAR on 1 July 1997.
