Geocache Description:

Born in Scotland but posted here

Outside the entrance to the former home of the East Riding Lunatic Asylum known as Broadgate Hospital, built on the grounds of a Broadgate Farm, and opened in 1871. The hospital closed in 1989 to make way for private housing developments, which is known as "Broadgates" by locals.

This is the first of a series of ten caches that will be placed on a circular route of aproximately 2.75 km
