NET - 04 Traditional Cache

This is a series of hides along the blue trail system to get folks out to hike. These hides will be easy to find but the trail can be tough for some. The terrain rating is high due to areas of the trail itself. These caches will be dedicated to famous people from CT.

Ted Knight (December 7, 1923 – August 26, 1986) was an American actor and voice artist best known for playing the comedic role of Ted Baxter in The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Henry Rush in Too Close for Comfort, and Judge Elihu Smails in Caddyshack. Born Tadeusz Wladyslaw Konopka to a Polish-American family in Terryville in Litchfield County, Connecticut, Knight dropped out of high school to enlist for military service in World War II. He was a member of A Company, 296th Combat Engineer Battalion, earning five battle stars while serving in the European Theatre. His hometown of Terryville, Connecticut, dedicated the bridge on Canal Street over the Pequabuck River in his memory. There is a bronze plaque bearing his likeness on the bridge.
