“WISCONSIN SPIRIT QUEST”

The Wisconsin Spirit Quest series of geocaches will take you to a number of historic cemeteries or other historic sites. In five years, the quest has grown to over six hundred caches hidden in Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Ontario, Wisconsin, Colorado, Georgia, Kentucky, and North Dakota and the hiders have grown to over thirty cacher teams.
Over 1,000 cacher accounts had logged over 25,000 finds when we quit counting.

WISCONSIN SPIRIT QUEST
"Thornberry Cemetery"

This Cemetery is in Town of Evergreen in Langlade County.

After a lot of research on this area, using old maps and info from the Langlade County Genealogical Society I found out that this is a old family Plot that is on county land, on the map below, you can see that back in 1913 the land was owned by the Thornberry family. I was told that this is the actual “haunted” Sherry Cemetery, but after some more research, all the paranormal activity happens down the road at Sherry Cemetery.
