Come to the Swansea Public Library for the second of a two-part introductory course, with this covering some more advanced aspects of geocaching and letterboxing. We will talk about different types of geocaches, different types of GPS recievers and smartphone apps, how to run filters and pocket queries and more. There will also be a brief presentation on some more advanced aspects of letterboxing such as different ways to create clues on a letterboxing page.
This event will be held on Saturday, August 9th from 1 p.m. until about 3 p.m. This time frame will include both the presentation portion, time for questions and a "live demo" for finding a more difficult geocache and letterbox. Veteran geocachers are encouraged to attend this event as they may be able to offer valuable advice and experience to newbies. We hope to see you there!
