Inspired by this special day of the year, this geocache was placed on April 22 in honour of Earth Day. The path to it will take you down an old Agassiz trail, across a rickety old makeshift bridge and to the base of a waterfall. Up, up, up you go from there so make sure you are wearing good hiking boots. From the base of the water fall, follow the falling water for a steady 10 minute hike. The elevation makes it hard to tell the distance from the base and your GPS will likely be bouncing due to the tree cover.
Earth Day is an annual day on which events are held worldwide to increase awareness and appreciation of the Earth's natural environment. In 2009, the United Nations designated April 22 as International Mother Earth Day.
