Welcome to Imiqtarviminiq, meaning in Inuktitut "Former place to get water". Back in the '50s and '60s, this lake was Iqaluit's main water supply. Today, it is known by most locals as "Dead Dog Lake".
Parking is available near the cache. Can be a quick grab-and-go, or you can take a lovely walk around the lake!
