Geocache Description:


This cache is located across the road from a Confederate fortification that was part of the outer defenses of Richmond from 1862-1865.  There once was a cache located at this site before beautiful renovations were done.  It's startling to me finding such a significant Civil War site located where it is and I think you'll agree!

The container is a 35 mil. film tube and the hiding place should be fairly ovbvious to a seasoned geocacher.
