Geocache Description:

The last of three caches hidden on Canada Day 2014 to encourage people to enjoy Cochrane's beautiful pathway system.

Since moving to Cochrane in March of 2013, I have spent many hours walking and bicycling the pathways all over town. I have enjoyed finding so many caches along the pathway system, I felt it was time to contribute something back to the local caching community.

The cache you seek is a camouflaged peanut butter jar hidden just off the pathway. This is close to the spot where -- up until the Fall of 2014 -- this path came to an end. Despite being very close to the pathway and also near the road, this spot feels somewhat secluded and the sound of the water rushing by drowns out a lot of the noise. It was when I found this spot during one of my evening bike rides I got motivated to hide some caches along this particular pathway.
