Come and join us for at 1700 for a BBQ at 1800 to celebrate. We will provide burgers and dogs on the BBQ, feel free to bring salads, treats, etc to fill out the menu. BYOB please, and kids are definitely welcome. Don't forget your new bugs!!!! Pls log a "will attend" so I know how much food to grill up.
This event will also be the official launch of the 2014 Petamob trackable race. The rules are all the same as last year and are as follows:
1. winning TB is the one that had accumulated the most km between 27 jul 2014 and 1 ju1 2015 at 1200hrs local time petawawa (in case geocachers are posted/move, etc.). This total km will be checked against the TB info page. We will have an event sometime next july to announce winners and give out prizes.
2. owners can start their TB wherever they want; however no km can be logged before 0001hrs on 27 Jul 14
3. up to 2x TB/geocaching username at an entrance cost of $2. Register the TB online at http://www.tb-run.com/join.php5?run=PETAMOBTBRACE2014 as well as with juno's crew NLT 27 jul 14 to be eligible for the race. Money can be paid to me at the petamob event, or if you cannot attend, message Juno's crew to make arrangements. I'm flexible. Provide me with the name of the TB and the TB # so that I can track it.
4. I will provide monthly updates on this site so everybody knows how their horse is faring.
5. owners cannot move their own TB. TB that are moved by their owner will be disqualified.
6. anything with a geocaching trackable number can be entered. (TB, coin).
7. if your TB goes missing, another cannot be entered to replace it (Hence the reason you can enter two)
