Geocache Description:

Located in the Warriors Path State Park. The roughly nine mile network of trails is primarily designed for mountain biking, but perfectly suitable for hiking on the park area seen across the way from the boat launch/soccer fields.  Clear Lock-n-Lock storage container.

Warriors' Path State Park is named for the Great Cherokee War and Trading Path. It is a well-managed facility with many different activities available. This geocache is placed in the mountain bike trail system. A three-mile loop hike/ride is enjoyed by taking Lake Road to connector for Boneyard providing some lake views, and then back on Lake Road.

After four to five years trying, permission was finally granted for another geocache in Warriors' Path State Park (WPSP). Tennessee bureaucracy has deemed four hides is all that the expansive 950-acre park can support. The container is a 6x6x4 clear Lock-n-Lock inscribed with "geocaching.com" in white ink to meet the state regulations.

Approval for the annual placement has been obtained via the TN Geocache Placement Site Permit process. Renewed for another year 9/2015.
