Benhar - Jasper Gracioso Traditional Cache

First visit to this fine area was at Covenanter 1 GC271YH September 2013 and decided that day to place a trail up here. Dedicating this series the many friends who have allowed me to name caches after them but especially to Beerburbler and Zeryx. Several cachers did not reply and a few said 'No thank you'.

57 caches (plus a bonus) named after fellow Geocachers hidden across a former coal mining area between Eastfield/Harthill/Fauldhouse/Shotts now covered by trees, bushes and grass.  As there are at least six possible starting points I suggest you seek them in the order you choose.
I sat at the top of each shooting platform (the tall structures with a seat at the top) and enjoyed a rest whilst taking in the views - wonder who else will do likewise.

Expect to see rabbits, hares, deer, buzzards and lots of other birds. And cows and sheep. Hiking boots recommended.

I cycled most of the area on my mountain bike but at times had to push it over some tougher ground so the terrain ratings vary.

There are some unusual objects up here and am looking forward to reading everyones logs.

Some caches contain letters which correspond to numbers for the Bonus Cache at N 55 50.ABC W 03 DD.DEF
