E is for Eeee bi gum and 'er indoors......Mad March Meet in 2012 was the first ever geocache meet we attended and after hovering in the car park with Garlandgirl we 'bit the bullet' and went in. We were very warmly welcomed by David and Carol..(sorry about all the split wine, Carol..it was just nerves!!) and immediately felt 'at home'. Since then we have been to 2 more MMMs, even persuading flagdrum to come along too, and thoroughly enjoyed putting faces to names we'd only seen on cache pages. Still haven't made it to a caravan rally though!!!
E is for english pete......We've never met Peter but always enjoy his logs on caches..... the saga of his walking pole began when we found it nr Thorner. It lived in our car for a year, hoping we'd bump into him sometime, but never did,. The saga only ended when Uggy took over custody at Thirsk and duly returned it to the rightful owner for us.
Congratulations to findersk@j on your FTF!
