As you might suspect, these caches require some form of waterborne transportation. There are many logs, stumps, and shallow water to negotiate so kayak or canoe would probably be best to use.
Most of the caches themselves are paddle and grabs, meaning you can just pull up to and get them from the comfort of your boat. However, there are a few that require standing or the exiting of your rig to get. Most of the caches are soda tubie in size and have no writing utensils. Please be sure to bring your own for signing of the logs.
As with all similar areas, be on the watch for many varieties of wildlife. This is a birder's paradise with no telling how many species a person might encounter. It's also well suited for other critters and plant life that you might want to avoid. Gaters, snakes, spiders, wasp nests, and poison ivy are just a few. All are interesting but you do want to watch where you put your hands and feet.
That's about it except to reiterate that these caches are placed out in the wild and will take some effort to get to. Be prepared with the essentials such as life jacket, water, a snack maybe, skeeter spray, sun protection, phone, and camera. To keep confusion down, i added parking coordinates to just a few of the caches.
Oh yessss, There is a bonus cache near the southern end of the series. Be on the look out for the 2 digits that are needed for finding it.
