The second in a continuing series of four caches of the Inheritance Cycle dragons. Cache is located near the Armstrong Rails to Trails.
The Inheritance Cycle is about a boy named Eragon who finds a mysterious stone in the woods. After taking it home, it hatches into a baby dragon. He is then chased out of his hometown, which he has never seen outside of, by the Empire, ruled by a vicious and merciless king named Galbatorix. Eragon must learn the ways of a Dragon Rider from someone most unexpected.
The dragon that this cache is named after, Thorn is a red dragon and is on the cover of the second book, Eldest. There is not much that I can say about him or who his rider is, or else I will spoil too much about the books. What I can say is that his egg was another one hatched from the original 3 eggs that King Galbatorix had, the first one being Saphira.
