Geocache Description:

Coy Hill Road circles around the southern portion of Middletown Springs. It starts on West Street (at least this set of caches does) and ends on South Street. In the process of driving this road, you will see some beautiful views and a quaint tree-lined Vermont dirt road.  As you drive around, you will pass the houses of my family and friends, some of whom still live there.

If this road is the same as it was 30 years ago, portions can get quite difficult during mud season, but the rest of the year it is OK, as there are a lot of families up here. I've placed a series of caches along the road. There are no pull offs for most, but this is a very quiet road, so just put your 4 ways on as you look for the cache. I've tried to get you as close to the spot as possible, my coordinates were not bouncing around very much so I should have gotten some pretty good reads. I did not intend for any of these caches to be difficult; it was more to lead you to explore another section of my hometown.

This first cache is just to get you in the mood for the rest of the caches in this series. There are pull offs on both sides of the road here, just don't block the farmer if he needs to get by. Enjoy!
