Start at Rifugio Giaf or Rifugio Padova and ascend to Forcella Scodovacca (2043m) on a good path. From here climb a steep and scree-filled couloir to Tacca del Cridola (2290m) where the actual summit-ascend starts.
Follow the red markings to the left, climb a 5m wall (I-II) and cross below the tower to the right until you reach a steep gully which you climb until you reach a small ridge (I-II). From the ridge go up until you reach a short vertical wall (II) which leads you to a broad ledge and the famous egg of the Cridola (L’Uovo del Cridola). Here a short dihedral (II+) poses the hardest part of the whole ascent. Afterwards the red markings lead straight up through the rockface until you reach a deep slot to your right. Turn left and cross a last steep wall following the red dots (II, a bit exposed). After this crossing the path soon reaches the summit and the cache.

The cache is hidden near one of the cables securing the summit cross, consult the spoiler pictures if you want to avoid a long search.
Do not underestimate the climb - while it isn't technically difficult the rock is often crumbly and you have to climb down the same route again. If you want to rappel a 30m rope is enough - there are fixed anchors at the most difficult places for rapelling. A helmet is mandatory.
Inizia Rifugio Giaf o Rifugio Padova e salire a Forcella Scodovacca (2043m) su un buon sentiero. Da qui salire un canalone ripido con detriti a Tacca del Cridola (2290 m) dov'è l'attuale inizia della risalita a cima.
Seguire i segni rossi a sinistra, scalare una parete 5m (I-II) e attraversare sotto la torre a destra fino a raggiungere un canalone ripido che si sale fino a raggiungere una piccola cresta (I-II). Dalla cresta si sale fino a raggiungere una parete verticale breve (II), che porta ad una ampia sporgenza e il famoso Uovo del Cridola. Ecco un breve diedro (II +) pone la parte più difficile di tutta la salita. Successivamente i segni rossi conducono dritto attraverso la roccia fino a raggiungere una profonda fessura a destra. Girare a sinistra e attraversare un ultimo muro ripido seguendo i puntini rossi (II, un po' esposto). Dopo questo passaggio il percorso raggiunge presto la cima e la cache.

La cache è nascosto nei pressi di uno dei cavi che fissano la croce di cima, consultare le immagini spoiler se si vuole evitare una lunga ricerca.
Non sottovalutare la salita - mentre non è tecnicamente difficile la roccia è spesso friabile e si deve scendere la stesso sentiero di nuovo. Se si desidera discendere a corda doppia una corda di 30m è abbastanza – ci sono ancore fissati nei luoghi più difficili per discesa in corda doppia. Un casco è obbligatorio.
