When the other Mrs. Bickerson and I started playing this game, we wished there had been someone to walk us through all of the basic kinds of caches. This series is designed for cachers with scores below 50 to help acquaint them with the Geo-basics. All are difficulty-rated with beginners in mind. The hints are explicit so experienced cachers be forewarned.

Geo-basics: The Ammo Can in the trees
This park is the archived site of, “When I grow up I wanna be a park.” Now that we own a home in this area, it’s our neighborhood park. It’s rumored, as the name of the old cache suggests, that it will get bigger someday but for now, it’s a quaint little gem and home to the first geocache in our Geo-basics series.
As the name would suggest, you’re looking for an ammo can in the trees. Please be careful to replace cache with cammo in mind. You shouldn’t be doing more than a little bit of bush-whacking. Muggles (non-geocachers) can be a challenge at times as can residents of the apartments and condos nearby.
