The Western Reserve Greenway trail is a 26 mile long paved trail owned by The Ashtabula County Metroparks. This trail recieves no public funding. Its only kept up through grants and donations. It is totally maintained by volunteers so please keep the trail beautiful and always CITO. There is also a volunteer bike patrol that helps maintain the trail, offer information, and help to those visiting the trail. Feel free to Walk or Ride and site see along the way. No motorized vehicles are aloud. Currently there are around 150 caches along this section of trail. There are benches located at various locations to stop and take a break. There is even a Pavillion located at The lampson Road Staging Area in Austinburg. Other parking locations are at West Ave in Ashtabula, Woodman Ave in Ashtabula, Old austinburg Road in Saybrook, SR 307 in Austinburg, Lampson Road in Austinburg, Jefferson Eagleville Road. Station Street in Rock Creek, and Penniman Road in Orwell just south of US322. The Geotrail was created by CrazyKC and the "Western Reserve Geocachers. coins funded by the ACC&VB. In morder to earn your coin you must complete the whole 26 mile trail finding 2 code words per mile. each mile has at least 3 or 4 words.Once you have completed the trail and you have your 52 code words, you can recieve your coin from the ACC&VB(GC2ZNZW) or at Shannons Mini Mart located at the trail and SR 307.
