Geocache Description:

Cache size is a small. East side.


The Western Reserve Greenway Trail is a 26 mile long paved trail and is owned by the Astabula County Metroparks. It recieves no public funds. it is totally kept up through grants and donations. This trail is maintained by volunteers so please keep it beautiful and always CITO. There is a volunteer bike patrol that also helps maintain the trail, offer information, and assist those visiting the trail. Feel free to walk or ride, but remember, no motorized vehicles aloud on the trail. There are currently over 150 caches along the trail. Parking is available at West ave in ashtabula, Woodman ave in Ashtabula, Old austinburg road in Saybrook, SR 307 in Austinburg, Lampson Road in Austinburg, Jefferson Eagleville road, Station Street in rock Creek, and Penniman Road in Orwell just south of US 322. The geotrail was created by CrazyKC and the "Western Reserve Geocachers. In order to earn your coin, you must complete all 26 miles of trail and record 2 code words per mile. each mile has 3 or 4 code words. Once you have completed all 26 miles and have your 52 words, you can claim you coin at ACC&VB(GC2ZNZW) or Shannons Mini Mart Located at the Trail and SR 307. coins are funded by the ACC&VB. when claiming your coin you will be asked to complete a brief survey.
