Remote geocache nestled amongst the magic that is the monkeyflower spring situated adjacent to the Imnaha Guard Station. Off the beaten path (drive-wise), but an easy walk to the cache site.
Located near the old Imnaha Guard Station, this cache is located on National Forest public land and is accessible whenever the guard station is (in winter the station is closed). Park near the guard station and follow the sign toward the spring (the guard station is available for private rental, so please respect residents' privacy and stick to the path). The cache site is amongst a meadow of yellow monkeyflower that is typically in bloom from spring through late summer - and when in bloom the area is a lush green and yellow.
