Geocache Description:

Everyone loves a field puzzle, right? Nothing you can do at home to solve it; just gotta take your skills on the adventure with you!

Easiest way to get to stage one is to keep on the right fork after the parking lot and take that trail along the boundary. From there, you can use your geosenses to find the right trails. This stage is a micro, however, it only gets bigger from there...

This first stage is the farthest you have to walk in as the other stage(s) bring you closer to the trailhead, for those of you who want to judge hiking distance.

If you frequent the Racebrook tract, I'm hoping this cache will get you on some of the lesser-known trails. Although it doesn't bring you to any scenic overlooks or an island oasis, it's interesting to notice how the types of trees change as you move through the forest.

Everything you need to find the final is out there in some waterproof container inside the tract. Just please take care with the intermediate stages; if anything is lost, the cache is compromised.

Fun fact about the final cache - my uncle, also a geocacher, had it collecting dust in his shed and thought I would like it. I'd never seen anything like it before and I loved it, but had no place to put it. Fortunately, I found a cool spot for it here and I hope all you fellow cachers will enjoy it too!

FTF gets some micro cache hiding goodies!
