Geocache Description:

Another cache in Port Credit

This cache is placed to commemorate the location of the St Lawrence Corn Strach Company. On a personal note, my father emigrated here and managed to find employment with St Lawrence back in the 1960's. Just walk along the shore of Lake Ontario, enjoy the trail and the park. There are informative billboards placed here, detailing the history of the factory and its significance to the development of the Port Credit community, which was immense.

The cache itself is a medium sized lock-and-lock type, and can accomodate small items. The FTF gets the $5 Second Cup gift card, which you can use nearby.
