L'opera "Le Ombre della Sera" di Virginio Ferrari è posta all'ingresso della Galleria direzionale Vasari tramite la quale, il comune di Sesto Fiorentino, attraverso l'operazione "Osmannoro Modern", cerca di riqualificare con interventi urbanistici di prestigio il quadrante industriale dell'Osmannoro. L'opera è ispirata ad una statuetta votiva etrusca, proveniente dall'antica Velathri, ovvero l'attuale Volterra, e ivi conservata al museo Guarnacci.

The work "Le Ombre della Sera" by Virginio Ferrari is placed at the entrance of the Galleria Vasari, and the municipality of Sesto Fiorentino, through the operation "Osmannoro Modern", seeks to redevelop with urban intervention the prestige of the industrial area of Osmannoro. The work is inspired by an Etruscan votive statuette, from the ancient Velathri, the current Volterra, and there preserved in the museum Guarnacci.
